Summer party
02.07.2026 18:30-00:00
On 2 July, the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Museum and Café HINIVUU will be hosting a Summer Party to celebrate the arrival of the warmer weather.
To mark the occasion, Marc-Arthur Sohna will present a wandering performance to bring his artistic residency to a close, showcasing the collective’s energy. It will take the form of a procession around the Museum accompanied by the dancers and musicians of the Sambaião group as well as our artist in residence. The public is warmly invited to join the group at any time and take part in this festive parade, set to the rhythm of music and dance.
Back at the Museum members of the Baianas de Genève cultural association will be offering a tasting of acarajé, an iconic speciality from the Bahia region, to be enjoyed together in a spirit of sharing. The evening will continue with a live concert by Sambaião, followed by a set by DJ Abalô until midnight. Café HINVUU will remain open throughout the evening, serving snacks and drinks so that everyone can keep the party going and celebrate together.
