News Reopening of the Museum

As of tomorrow, November 28th, we are delighted to welcome you again. However, the protective measures remain in force, such as the compulsory wearing of masks, social distancing and access for only a limited number of people to the Museum.

The Museum, like all other cultural institutions in Geneva, had to close its doors at the beginning of November in order to cope with the increasingly difficult situation of the second wave.

To share with you (with caution) our joy of the reopening, we invite you to visit the Museum for free this weekend, November 28th and 29th.

(Re-) discover our permanent exhibition and reflect with us on the current situation with the exhibition and temporary exhibition COVID-19 and us by Magnum Photos and you, which will “besiege” part of our permanent exhibition until the end of January.

Our second temporary exhibition Imagine. Reflections on peace, on the other hand, offers you the opportunity to step out of the omnipresent discourse of COVID and invites you to reflect on peace in general, and more particularly to reflect on the regions of the world that have experienced long-lasting conflicts and then peace agreements. What does post-conflict look like, what does peace mean for the people of these countries?
