From Solferino to Geneva

From Solferino to Geneva, it is a three-day journey by bicycle, which will lead the torch to the International Museum of the Red Cross and Red Crescent.

To celebrate the signing of the First Geneva Convention on 22 August 1864, BikeIsLife#pedaliAMOITALIA and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies devised a symbolic event: #PassTheTorch

From Solferino to Geneva, it is a three-day journey by bicycle, which will lead the torch to the International Museum of the Red Cross and Red Crescent. From hand to hand, from place to place, the torch symbolizes the solidarity and commitment of Red Cross and Red Crescent volunteers.

The torch will arrive at the Museum this Saturday, August 22nd at 12:30 pm.

With the support of the regional committees of the Italian Red Cross of Piedmont and Valle d’Aosta and the Croix-Rouge vaudoise.

Within the framework of the measures decided by the Council of State, the wearing of a mask is compulsory and the names of the participants will be recorded.
