Hi, my name is Fabienne and I work at the Museum as an Executive Assistant.
I find the initiative of applauding the medical and nursing staff wonderful and believe that people who are working during this crisis to provide us with essential services should also deserve thanks or congratulations.
We all appreciate the fact that they go to work every day to ensure our well-being, despite the fear of contracting the virus and passing it on to their families.
This is in line with the humanitarian principles and values of the delegates and volunteers of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement who work all year round in the field, whose help is all the more precious in these difficult times.
Personally, I would like to say a big THANK YOU to Nathalie, the cashier at my village grocery store, who keeps her smile and good humour despite the current situation.
And you, who in particular would you like to thank or encourage?
A delivery man, a pharmacist, a bus driver, a cashier, a worker, your neighbour, a relative who does your shopping for you?
Please join me in sending them a “Thank you” or “Bravo” in the comments box!
Let’s stick together. Together we are stronger!
