Talk by ICRC delegate Fatima Sator

The Curiosity Club is organising its first event in Geneva at our Museum and has invited ICRC delegate Fatima Sator to give a Talk.

The evening will begin with a drink. Participants will then listen to Fatima Sator's Talk (40 minutes), followed by a question and answer session (20 minutes). The evening will continue with a cocktail dinner, served by the new HINIVUU café.

Let yourself be surprised, with a cocktail in hand, by the story of a life you're not used to hearing: that's the promise to the Curiosity Club's community, which has already had the chance to hear the soprano Sabine Devieilhe, the centaur Camille, the actress Joséphine Jappy, the judoka Clarisse Abnegenou... and many others!

The Curiosity Club is an organisation that promotes equality between women and men by enabling everyone, individuals and companies alike, to get involved and take action to create a more harmonious world. The Curiosity Club inspires, educates and raises awareness among its audience by relying on an infallible tool: the power of curiosity.

After taking her first steps as a journalist in Switzerland, Fatima Sator travelled the world to promote the place of women in international relations and make visible the human rights legacy of the South. Her research work inspired the HBO documentary "Bertha Lutz" (2021). She also contributed to the book "Women and the UN", published by Routledge. Then from the Congo to Yemen, via Nigeria, Ethiopia and Ukraine, she travelled through war zones as a communications delegate for the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) to protect and assist the victims of armed conflict.

The Curiosity Club is about women. Women who are curious, dreamers, determined, ambitious, sensitive and singular. Women who meet, exchange ideas, inspire each other and lend a helping hand in Curiosity Club gatherings located all around the world. They come to listen to a woman sharing her journey and, in doing so, discover more about themselves.

The Curiosity Club also includes employees and collaborators in companies who have the desire to be supported in taking one step closer to equality, dreaming bigger, and envisioning a fairer world hand in hand.

Ultimately, the Curiosity Club is an extraordinary community of women and men united by curiosity, that incredible quality that drives us to observe, understand, discover ourselves, grow, break free, rise, and take action. This amazing power, through collective momentum, transforms our individuality.
