Linocut workshop for children and parents

Solidarity Sunday

This workshop is led by Geneva artist Sandra Marongiu, who will introduce you to linocut, a unique form of expression. It's a three-stage process: drawing, engraving a linoleum plate, and finally printing. Each linocut is unique. Even if the "plate" is identical for the same series, the handmade printing process, combined with the grain of the paper, guarantees the personality of each engraving.

  • 10am - 12pm
  • 6 children + 6 parents
  • from 7 years old
  • 15 chf per child and 30 chf per adult
  • The materials are provided

But what is a Solidarity Sunday? It's very simple: every first Sunday of the month, you can take advantage of reduced admission prices to the exhibitions, with tickets priced at 10 instead of 15. It's also an opportunity to do a good deed, as each ticket purchased is equivalent to a ticket that will be donated to the Geneva Red Cross and other local partners. These tickets will then be distributed to the beneficiaries of these organisations. By taking part in Dimanche Solidaire, you're promoting access to culture in a socially responsible way, from person to person.
